Consistent with previous TN although this bottle showed even better. Glorious nose of cassis with creosote and a little earthiness. Medium plus body with lots of ripe, red/black fruit which builds on the palate. This showed a little more depth and was less fruit forward than the last bottle i had. Fairly long finish with integrated tannins. Drinking very well right now but looks like it will develop further over the next few years. This showing puts it on a par with the '03 Rattlesnake Ridge bottling. An outstanding wine which appears to be heading in the right direction.

Decanted 3 hours. This was my first tasting of the single vineyard bottlings from Teachworth. Drank alongside the 02' Manzanita Hill Vineyard Cabernet. Tremendous nose of blackberry, cassis with a herbal element. Bright red fruit profile in the mouth with great intensity. Medium to full bodied with a smooth, elegant mouthfeel. Remains fresh in the mouth. Finish is medium plus in length and the tannins seem well integrated at this point. Excellent but my least favorite of the three '02 bottlings. Certainly has many years left.

Dark nose of cassis alongside herbal notes of dried oregano. Complex and round, with a long finish. Excellent, highly recommended.
