Has improved with age. Not quite as hot as it was when young and yet the basic Ridge oak/structure hasn’t diminished at all. Not necessarily that much grenache-ness to it now, but a very enjoyable aged Ridge wine. Improved with air.

I really liked this wine. Based on the reviews I thought it might be going downhill, but I thought it was hitting stride. Juicy plum fruit and the Lytton Springs terroir. Just bought it at winery and thought it was a good value for a well kept bottle of older wine.

Surprisingly good for a 14 year old Syrah

Lovely. Shows some bricking through the translucent gem. Rustic, herby, green on the nose.
Some nice weight, silky, such a nice elegant wine. Great balance, can feel the 14.7 but then the fruit, acid take a sweeping run at your palate.
This is just gonna keep going, perfect balance. Still feels young. Another 10 years left. Delicious

A bit syrupy for my taste. Lots of berry & black plum flavor.
