Dark impenetrable red, dark fruit on nose with hefty bouquet, blackberry and plum palate. Med body and coating tannin. Great Syrah with good vfm and loooong way to go. revisit in 2014.

Dark and rich on the nose, this wine shows notes of chocolate, black stone, and black cherries. A spin in the glass reveals beautifully dense aromas of cassis and molasses.
Intense, ripe, and dark on the palate this wine is deliciously dense. Rich flavors of black plum rolled in black pepper and crushed black stone dominate the flavor profile. Intensity balances flawlessly with elegance as delicate tannins frame a bright, unquestionably Tuscan acidity. This is an amazing wine that does both Syrah and the Super Tuscan category proud. Absolutely worth buying.

Dark in color. Took more than two hours to open up. Blackberry and pepper flavors. Still young.
