2010-2014 Kupfergrube GG vertical. Somewhere in between the 2010 and 2011 stylistically. Pure, clean, precise in therms of fruit profile, more generous than the 2010. Saline and powerful. A little tight still. Great energy to the persistent finish. Excellent. 92-93+

Brought to the tasting by Kutay Erbayat. From the best parcels in the Schlossböckelheimer Kupfergrube vineyard, featuring southern exposed terraces on an old copper mine in the Nahe. Brass coloured with green highlights. Displays an elegant toasty edge to the distinct mineral core and aromas of preserved lemon. Mid weight featuring intriguing citrus flavours and a razor sharp acidity that together create a long, penetrating finish.

Dark peach, quite mature. Miss minerality.
Drink.

Lightly aromatic, off-dry w. high acidity and minerality. Grapefruit and white stone fruits on the palate.
