I just have to laugh at all the incredibly snobby scores and tasting notes for this wine. This is SANCERRE for 10 DOLLARS!!! If you can't see the value in this wine, and don't understand what incredible juice it is at this price, then you simply don't know this grape, this place or what these wines usually cost. This wine is crisp, true to place, very complete, loaded with acid and minerals and an absolute STEAL at 9.99. If you find it, get it. But you won't find it, because it was a one time buy for Trader Joe's. Killer juice.

Nice match with tuna poki. Heavy citrus and slightly off dry, which actually helped it pair nicely with the spice & soy sauce. Tons of citrus with gobs of grapefruit, which I quite liked. Nice balance of herbs, slate, & a pleasant roundness. Not as enjoyable on its own without food due to a somewhat sour aftertaste. This is a decent work horse SB, especially for the price.

Lemon, hints of tropical fruit (pineapple), some grassy/herbaceous notes, steely finish. Really nice wine for the price. Leaning a little more to the new world than other Loire SB's I have had. Went beautifully with the classic chevere pairing. Not overly deep or exciting but varietally correct, balanced, and pleasurable.

Not zingy like the new Zealand S.B. I prefer, but it was very delicious!! Very fruity smooth and destinctively S.B. Enjoyable!
