  Opened about 1 hour before drinking but not decanted and consumed over another 2 hours or so. Deep red garnet in color. Complex, brambly nose with loads of fruit and tobacco as well. Very mouth-filling on the palate with supple tannins supporting good fruit and acidity though less complexity than I would hope. Nonetheless a very good wine that was far more complete and interesting than the Marjorie drunk alongside from the same vintage. Purchased on release and stored in my cellar since.

  Opened a 375 when I got home from the disaster of a Jet game. Dark red fruit on the nose. Red Cherry, Plum and baking spice on the palate. with a finish of moderate length.

  Opened for ninety minutes. A bit sharpish on opening, but smoothed out to show beautiful fruit. Mature; no reason to hold such longer. A lovely Pinot.

  Fading a little since my last bottle a year ago. Fruit on the nose. The palate is dark cherry, rhubarb and spice. The finish was of moderate length and a smooth but according to my notes not as vibrant as a year ago. From a 375 served with oven roasted salmon.
