  • Served chilled. Deep clear golden color. I love Tokaji & the mix of sweet & racy. I wasn't familiar with this producer previous to tasting this bottle. Wonderfully balanced sweet, exotic fruit against a backdrop of bright, fresh acidity. Medium bodied with a plush texture, but with an almost crisp nature which creates fascinating textural complexity. Tropical & stone fruit lead the way with some lighter citrus zest accenting the mid palate.

Beautifully finessed wine. I love Tokaji & all of the little detailed flavors as well as the palate tension from the acid. Showed great with a little bottle age.

  • APPEARANCE: Orangish in color. Almost cognac-like with a thick viscosity.
    AROMA: Dry, sweet raisins.
TASTE: Full-bodied with a bit of kerosene on the palate. Thoroughly coats the palate.

  • Very, very unique. Tried it both at room temperature and slightly chilled... We liked it much better chilled. To tell you the truth we weren't impressed at first taste, but we kept sipping and began to get accustomed to the very unique flavors (at least for us). The wine is HIGHLY mineral, relatively thick, and only semi-sweet. The second glass, which was chilled, was actually quite enjoyable. we still cannot really define the flavors of the wine, and never having tried another Tokaji I'm not about to give it a numerical rating. All in all, we would buy another Tokaji again in the future... Its a unique experience.
