It is what it is. decent beaujolais. Strawberries on the nose, almost candied in its sweetness, though the nose is harsh with alcohol which dulls out the remaining notes. Thin mouth feel with no finish. Very fruit forward. no depth. Good to share at a party or have on night when not seeking to entertain your palate.

I had the 2010....Very fruity and sweet nose, quickly mellowed and taste became subdued after several minutes. Definitely simple wine character, but great bang for the buck. All around good table wine to accompany an average dinner...

Transparent garnet colored. On the nose, cherries, peaches (!), licorice, and blueberries. Very fruity nose, but in that sort of fake Victoria's Secret lotion kind of way. On the palate, medium-light bodied, slightly sweet, but where's that fruit that I smelled? Completely absent midpalate, acidity is lively but that's about it. Despite the lack of fruit carrying forward from the nose, the wine does achieve a sense of balance which is worth noting. Finish is short and is tart with welch's grape juice flavors.
Not too much to think about in this wine, a good quaffer though. Spend the extra few bucks and go for a Villages or Cru Beaujolais.

Nice. Strawberry notes. Very dry. Lots of minerals/earthy. Dried fruits: currants, apricots.
