Appearance: Clear, with medium lemon color, and legs Nose: Clean, the nose shows medium (+) intensity aromas of tropical fruit of lychee, stone fruit of apricot, floral notes of rose, sweet spice of ginger, mineral notes of stony. The wine is youthful. Palate: Medium-dry with medium acidity, the wine has medium alcohol level and a medium (+) body, showing medium intensity flavors of tropical fruit such as lychee, sweet spice of ginger, floral notes of rose and dairy notes of cream. The wine has a medium finish. Conclusion: Good quality Alsace Gewurztraminer with a good intense nose, but a bit on the simple front, the wine has a firm structure, but the acidity can be of a higher level to balance the sweetness of the wine. The palate is quite intense too, but also fairly simple, with a reasonable finish. Ready to drink now and can keep for 2-3 years.

WES Tour of Alsace - Domaine Josmeyer: Beautifully restrained but typical nose, spices rather than roses. Sweet attack, turkish delight but the finish is pleasantly spicy.

Domaine Josmeyer (Cellar Door): Turkish Delight and spices. Soft approach, good acidity, quite subtle with a lightness and a spicy finish.
