Pop and pour. Bright, almost neon yellow. Amazing aromatics. Lemon, pear, a touch of Italian parsley and a hint of butter. Just a wine you can smell forever. Full bodied with a nice mouthfeel. Great acidic structure brings you right back to the glass refreshed. The new oak cannot be ignored however. A tad too much meringue and not enough lemon. Pretty hot on the finish (14.8%), but nice length.
Very nice for a second label (Darioush), but the flaws (heat, too much new oak) drag this down a bit. Cannot speak highly enough about the aromatics on this wine however.
