  • Fully mature, with tertiary notes of quite impressive depth and complexity. Sensations of earth and leather, undergrowth and roasted chicken, jellied and dried fruits such as strawberries, redcurrants and rowanberries. Dry and medium-bodied, with laid-back fruit intensity, viscous texture and fully integrated oak tannins/toasted oak flavours. Really much better now than seven years ago. All it needed was time and proper food matching (grilled chicken with rowanberry jelly and cream sauce).
