  Hochfeiner Stoff mit ätherischer, vielschichtiger Nase, quasi keine Frucht, dafür viel Kräuter & Gewürz, Leder, dezenter Rauch, Waldboden. Am Gaumen dann ein letzer Hauch Brombeer und Kirsch, transparent, sehr frisch, salzig und mineralisch im Abgang. Bleibt extrem lang haften.

  A well developed blaufrankisch that began with a narrow palate profile but warmed up to a more lush, fruit forward and satisyfing pinot. Lots of strawberry and a hint of smoke with somewhat earthy almost peat tones, a decent nose. Somewhere between the more sharply defined better spatburgunders and a good Oregon pinot in style. Lushness over sophistication. A nice detour.

  Klar, lys rød med lys kant. Floral, lett søtlig nese med jordbær, solbær, pepper og mild vanilje. Bløt, transparent og elegant frukt med god konsentrasjon. Preg av markjordbær. Frisk og fokusert syre. Tørr avslutning med glatte, nesten umerkelige tanniner. Lang, spicy ettersmak med chili og ingefær. (Kan minne om Vosne, bare med ekstra krydder.) 91+ P.

  Gorgeous, ethereal and refined expression of this typically 'masculine' grape. Makes me weak in my knees. Dinner at The World Wine Symposium.
