  • Tasted blind, wine #6. Dark Ruby with brick red hue.
Nice elegant nose with rich and polished fruits intermix with tar and roses, smoky fruits, black cherry and spice. Youthful and primary nose does not show its age.
Good weighty entry, fresh and young with nice primary fruits, classic character of tar and roses along with black cherry and olive. Solid midpalate and plenty of substance on palate along with good acidity. Long persistent finish with ripe and grippy tannins.
This is still very young and impressive showing.

  • Opened and had a glass 2h before dinner, then drank over several hours. Excellent cork, only stained at the very end. Garnet with barely any bricking / browning at the rim. Initially some oxidated notes on the nose, later more soil and leather. Very nice balance on the palate with dark and later also more red fruit and a touch bitter chocolate, perfectly integrated fine tannins and a medium finish. Very subtle flavors upon openeing, becomes more aromatic with more air. 91-92

  • Fully mature now but in no way over the hill. Lovely nose of rose petals, red plums and clay. Beautifully balanced, with great acidity and still noticeable but fine tannins. Finishes off with a sweet bacony note.
