Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • {screwcap, 15%} Deep ruby with e brackish rim, not too light, but looking about right for a decade’s age. Developing nose, black liquorice and a savoury note, similar palate with soft dusty tannins but also lowish acidity. Mostly there’s alcoholic heat carrying it, robbing it of freshness a bit, plus it’s not especially complex. Not quite raisin flavours but it’s getting there. Better younger, not really an aging wine in my view.
