  From magnum. Popped for NYE. One of the darkest, most tooth-staining wines I've had this year. Seriously extracted color here. Tasty fruit, big on the raspberry and cherry but with hint of underlying minerality and earthiness that would be quite nice if there was more of it. Unfortunately, I think we killed this one several years too early. While it was drinking quite well tonight, it was all fruit-driven. I think another 2 years (750) to 4 years (magnum) would be the perfect drinking window for this wine. I'm pretty impressed with Spencer's wines thus far, and will be keeping an eye on El Corazon.
