A very lovely bottle of this. Approachable but still on the young side - a credible Cote Rotie alternative with lots of sweet and sauvage aromas with a touch of bacon and smoke. Ripe, full sweet syrah flavours. Delicious.

Gorgeous wine, the best bottle yet. Developing a bacony nose but lovely lush red fruits and a bit of herb and earth. Lush, ripe fruit, balanced, long and great concentration of red fruits. Classic northern Rhone character. Seems to have lost that metallic edge it had earlier in its life. Should continue to improve for a couple more years yet. Mustard!

Last bottle from a case. Still youthful, violets and ham, a junior cote rotie. Lovely wine in this vintage.
