Very nice color and nose. Fruits of green melon, apple and peach. Short finish. Higher acidity levels and a bit of tanginess like an Austrian or German white. Originally bought to accompany a salad containing grapefruit. This would have worked well.

(Cantina Terlan Pinot Bianco, Alto Adige) This highly regarded co-op from the village of Terlano produces clean, mineral-driven whites and full-flavored reds from both indigenous and international grape varietals. The light and fragrant 2007 Pinot Bianco (aka Weissburgunder) shows crunchy green apple, lemon peel, and white blossoms on the nose. With more acidity than is found in most Pinot Biancos, this wine finishes clean and citrusy. Hot Picks

DAWGS July 2011 Wine Dinner (Aboca's Italian Grill- Richardson, TX): Tasted non blind at a wine dinner. Tight nose of some light fruit. Apples, lemons, butter and some floral notes on the palate. Somewhat short finish.
