Simple clean somewhat over-ripe Gruner. Warm yellow fruits, golden apples, some minerals. I found that the lack of acid made it taste sweeter than it really is. It seemed almost at a spatlese (or somewhere b/w kabinett and spatlese) level of residual sugar when I suspect this isn't really the case. For the price, a great bargain, but not a wine to seek out. It worked well in a shrimp and asparagus risotto we made.

Amazing wine from @klwines - $6 from $18, and worth full price. Wish I had grabbed a case. Straw yellow, clear, nose of wet stone, lime, note of honey. Wonderful in the mouth, dances across the tongue. Zippy acidity, great minerality, oily viscosity - a sensory heady pleasure. And super quaffable at 12.5% alcohol. (why wont we learn this domestically?) I'd buy a case if I could, and lay some down, besides gulping down now. Btw, NOTHING like the CA/Napa Gruners I have had.

Had one of these back on Thanksgiving and it was still delivering. Note to self on Gruner/turkey pairing. Do it again!

Meh. Simple, generic. Some citrus. Might be good for making a kir or something but not a lot of pleasure for me today.

Quite a nice wine. Better day 2 than 1. Very typical, well made gruvee. Creamy, white pepper, medium acidity. 87-88.
