Even better than last time. Opened this and a CA and OR Chardonnay for a party. This was far and away the favorite. Has distinctive oak and butter, but not overstated. Nice smooth long finish.

I will echo BrandrB comments below. I am rating this an 84 only because it is a sound wine. Made well. But I am coming to realize I do not particularly care for buttery/oaky chardonnay. I have had some that were so buttery/oaky that I could not drink it and poured it down the drain. This is not one of those. But it does have some butter/oaky taste. I much prefer the crisp chardonnay's that are similar to Sauvignon Blanc.

Light yellow color. Lemon and light oak on the nose. Medium-bodied palate that’s lemon-citrus dominated showing quite a bit of alcohol. Nice creamy mouthfeel with plenty of young acidity, but, again, the excessive alcohol really detracts . Medium-long finish. This has many of the ingredients of a fine New World Chardonnay but is ultimately way too hot for my tastes – weighs in at 14.7% and even that seems to be a bit of an understatement on my palate. A definite pass for me at $27.
