  • Smoky apricot bouquet and flavors. Very sweet, but still good acidity. Good balance. Fully mature, but no rush to drink. Very nice wine.

  • Really nice. Fully mature but on the youthful side. Nice golden color. Concentrated bouquet of honey, sweet peach, peach liqueur, cinnamon, honeysuckle with some spice. Medium bodied thick rich and viscous on the palate with concentrated flavors of peach, apricot, honey, and thyoical gewurztraminer spice. Well balanced. Plenty of sweetness but nice acidity keeps it in check. Drinks beautifully now but it's like it has the ability to age at least another 5 years if not longer.

  • Same as the last time we had this wine - it is clearly in drink up mode, sweet and cloyingly so because it lacks the acidity to make this balanced:

The wine starts off with a crazy nose of rich honey, ripe peach, rose hips, lychee, pear, along with heavy sweetness. The mouth is rich, full bodied, and mouth coating, with good sweetness that takes over the palate, along with floral, pineapple, and melon notes that peek out from under the tropical and honeyed mouth. The finish is long lasting with cloves and baked apricot pie. If this had more acidity to really balance out the whole, it would have been a real winner, drink up!

  • While many have given this one much higher scores on Rogov's forum, we all felt this lacked the bracing acidity to make it a true winner.
