A fascinatingly dark combination of chocolate, caramel, and coffee beans appears on the nose. Leather and spice combine with concentrated berry preserves in a deep, captivating mélange of dark fruit and earth.
Rich and plush on the palate, this wine is drenched in plumy tones and loads of kitchen spice. Caramel and a combination of cloves, cinnamon, and allspice mix with dark berries and an Old World inspired earthiness, reminiscent of leather and dust. This is a big wine, although it remains in perfect balance, with exceptionally precise acidity and a leveling terroir.
Thin red color typical of lots of Pinot Noir - lots of nice legs. Delicate oaky vanilla initially on the nose followed by blackberry. Notes of cherry and raspberry on the tongue - neither are overwhelming. The thinness of the color continues onto the palate. Dried cranberry and cherry even. Nice Pinot - perhaps drinking it a little too chilled as it seems to lack some structure and acidity.

What a wonderful Pinot. Bright fruit of cherries and cedar. Nice finish. Drinking very well. Wish I had more.

Soft, fully integrated red berries with a little touch of cherry.
