From magnum Nose - an absolutely captivating nose of ripe red cherry, toast, caramel, and whisky barrel. Barrel aromas here are quite attractive Mouth - complex mix of ripe fruit and savory umami favors, in the context of a minerally body that I could see how some might call salty. This is without a doubt a big wine, and I think it would pair very well with a steak. Still quite young. worth seeking out.

A very interesting blend of 65% Cabernet and 35% Nebbiolo. Red fruit driven, bright profile, very fresh on the palate. The young tannins were abrupt at first but the wine opened nicely over 2 hours. The alcohol at 13.4% is well balanced in context to the other flavors. Overall not an overly complex wine but undeniably well made. Considering this vineyard was only planted in 2000 this producer has a very encouraging future ahead.
