  Still tasting great !!
  I agree with my previous tasting notes. A perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle, easily removed. Consumed this delicious Barbera over three days and it held up well, great each day. Dark burgundy color with medium clarity. Aromas of red cherry and dried strawberries. Flavors of black cherry, plum, and blackberry with a medium finish. Great aging potential, I wish I had more just to see how much longer this wine will develop. This Barbera goes with any tomato based Italian food, especially pizza.

  I agree with my note from almost two months ago. Perfect pizza wine !!
  Consumed over two days (with pizza). I still have one bottle of this vintage remaining and will taste in a few months to verify my review. Great job Rick !!

  The perfect pizza wine, tasting great right now !!
  Perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days, popped and poured and this Barbera opened quickly, on day two, the acids had softened slightly and the flavor profile had barely shifted. Aromas of red raspberry with flavor of ripe strawberry, blueberries and black pepper. This vintage has more years of life remaining; I will open another soon to verify my review. Delicious fruit from Heringer vineyard and excellent winemaking from Rick Hutchinson.

  Cherries and dark fruit on the nose, with some kind of spicy or cedary note. Palate similar, just slightly sweeter than I look for in a wine to have with food (artichoke and shrimp pizza, home-made), but good acid balance and very nice soft tannins.
