Drunk several days ago, no detailed notes. Expected color and varietal nose and mouthfeel, no flaws, some nice fruit forwardness even at five years, but lacks complexity. Probably best drunk younger than we did.

Opened last night, did not take detailed notes, but thought of it as the complete CdR package - fairly tannic on opening, the expected grenache cherry / raspberry, a bit smoky (which may fade after a bit of air), herbal and spice notes which I should have written down. Complexity sets it apart from more run-of-the-mill GSMs. Will see what it's like tonight.
