Seems to be losing a bit of its structure, and gaining some lucious fruitiness in the meantime. If that is what flips your lid, then this wine is for you!!!

A bit less structure, more fruit and more richness than in past showings. At age 6, I found the wine to be akin to the riper CA offerings, which is good if that's what you expect, and not if not. Tropical fruit, okay nose, nice and ripe length.

Bottle #3. Shows simiiarly to the last bottle. Structured, and with some air, chalky and light citrus/tropical fruits. The nose is still muted (for about the first hour, anyway) but the length is good, if indeterminate. The best years of this wine are still ahead of it.
Try bottle #4 is late 2009 - there's a lot to be gained from waiting.

Shows much more "real" stuffing than it did 18 months ago. It's still quite structured (if a bit driven) but the nose is beginning to emerge, and some chalky, yellow fruit in the mouth is also appearing alongside of that stony structure. The finish is of good length and moderately penetrating. Shows quite a bit of promise.
Best to try again in 18 more months.

Grapefruit, flowers and stones, along with a hint of roasted nuts. Nice finish.
