  • Mmm, deep, plummy, beautiful cherry and cocoa, really showing lovely precision, silky texture. Everything I want in a ripe vintage Pomerol, just pure pleasure. This is my 2nd to last bottle of a case, it is one of the best.

  • Synger på allersidste vers. I både næse og mund kun tertiære noter med champignon, muld og ristede nødder. Ej den store kompleksitet og stort set ingen tanniner. Gensmagte efter 5 timer og ingen udvikling - good or bad. Imponerende, at vinen trods alt har holdt så længe.

  • Ready to go, if not past. Fully resolved, showing only tertiary characteristics, was a pleasure, but only downside from here, in my opinion.

  • High fill, pristine bottle, only the bottom of the cork was wet, only little sediment, all this indicates that is a kept bottle. On the nose velvety red fruit and oak, the palate is firm with cassis, dark cherries, tobacco, the fruit is ripe but not roasted, medium minus acidity but quite fresh, still present but round tannins. A surprisingly youthful wine especially considering the vintage, well stored bottles have the potential to develop further.

  • Attractively velvety promising nose filled with dark berries, the palate is seductive and classy, tasty plummy notes, smoke, ink, grandma's spice rack flauvors, oak is still present but not in a dominating role, drinking well now but will last, extremely good and lives up to its reputation.
