  • A good, relatively light wine. Drank it over about 5 days and it held up pretty well. Wonderful on Days 1 and 2, still very drinkable on Day 5.

  • Opened for 2 hours before drinking. Beautiful red-garnet color. Ripe dark cherries , red currant with spices. A bit of an orange bite up front (@ tamandlu) Dundee dust is not as distinctive in this one. Long finish with some young tannins showing. Delicious now or in 2-3 more years. I'm really enjoying Et Fille wines. Some of their bottlings have real value price points that keep me interested.

  • Popped and poured. Vivid red-garnet color. Exuberant, seductive nose of ripe red fruit, spices, mint, and some earth. Plush on the palate with abundant ripe fruit and savory acidity and a bitter orange character that I have come to associate with many Oregon pinots. Very long, slightly tannic finish. This is drinking very nicely now and the tannins suggest that it will keep. Very typical of the forward, balanced character of the vintage in Oregon. Drank from the winelist at Wildwood Retaurant in Portland, Oregon to accompany duck confit with corn pudding and sauteed romano beans.
