This wine puts a big smile on my face. It’s about all I want in a wine. Another restrained Oregon 2014. 12.9%. Day 1 had with grilled salmon and was a great match. Reductive earthy nose with light and dark red fruit. Palate was concentrated fruit with a bit of a savory streak. Balanced, smooth, great weight and mouthwatering acidity. No sign of tannins and the length lasted for minutes. A broad wine without being heavy. Day 2 wo food and the savory went away and the fruit was more bright. Cran/orange, tart cherry and dark cherry. No reduction or savory notes. Tannins were drying but still had a long finish. Fantastic!

Wow. This is a fantastic wine. Nose is fragrant with roses and red fruit. Bright red cherry, dark cherry and tart blackberry with a juicy long finish. Tannins do a fly by but hide from the mouthwatering acidity. 12.9% which is impressive in this warm vintage. Maresh is one of the premier vineyards in the Dundee Hills and Willamette Valley. Memorable.

Definitely more harmonious than described a year ago, slightly dark cherry without sliding to plum. Perfect drinking with or without food over the next year or 2.

Medium/Dark ruby color. Lots of dark raspberry, with hints of earthiness. The 12.9% alcohol really make the fruit standout.
