Deep garnet. Strong nose. Ripe fruits, like cherry. Medium to heavy bodied, light tannins, light acidity. Oak on the front, leather, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, with a fruity finish. The nose is that of some of great wines I’ve had in the Keys, but there’s something missing in the palate. Past its prime.

Dark red burgundy with a thin clear rim. Sweet red raspberries and blackcurrants under an oaky nose. Medium weight with dark fruit and soft tannins with a medium long finish.

Big fruit and good structure make this a delightful merlot. Aromas/flavors of cherry, raspberry, plums, cocoa, mint, cinnamon and vanilla. Well integrated tannins balance the abundant fruit leading to a long, toasty finish.

Opened 11/13/2005. Aromas of sweet dark cherry, some coffee and some green/vegetal (can't place what it is). Fruit forward with definite tastes of cherry. Found some heat and good tannins. Good finish about 20 secs. Put away the rest of the bottle (about half) and save for tomorrow.
2nd night (11/14/2005) - Dk cherries still abound with some vegetal aromas of green pepper (?) and coffee. However, it is starting to go flat. Does not have the heat and tannins from yesterday. Still a good wine.
I would not drink this for more than a day.
