  • It's a blend of Nebbiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Nero, with 24 months in small barriques and a further 12 months in bottle prior to release. A nice long cork - 2 1/8" in length. Unfiltered and showing some sediment.

Very deep coloured - opaque - with a slim purple rim; powerful sweet berry fruit aromas mixed with a pleasing spray of oak; round and full bodied with deep black fruits in the flavours; quite well balanced with the acidity and tannins couched beneath the fruit; hard to separate into into individual berry flavours; good extraction and persistency; finished extremely long, well over a minute, with the fruit and tannins mixing well, and the fruit extending to the end. Very attractive! It should continue to develop over the next 4 or 5 years.
