Waiting proved worthwhile with this bottle. Although it would never develop the white pepper and blood nose I love in Syrah because of the hot vintage this did develop nicely.
Dark red. Smoky dark fruit, warm soil and beef nose. Dry rich black cherry, olive brine and berry flavours and a nice dry resolved finish.

Beautiful as ever - booming, mouthfilling blackberries and rounded earthy tannins. An absolute treat. Great to drink now and could go further, but why wait?

Light plum and eucalyptus on the nose. On the palate, black cherry, blackberry, and notes of plum and olive tapenade, with moderate tannins and good acidity on the medium to long finish. This was a good value at about $30. The Cellartracker drinking window looks too short; this has several years left in it.

A crowd-pleaser that never lets me down. Not super-sophisticated, but none the worse for that.

An absolutely barnstormer - at its peak! Full and vibrant, delicious blackberry/bramble fruit and real weight and power. Amazing value.
