Color is light magenta. Nose is pretty non-existent though after a while some feint oak shows up. Palate is astringent and not pleasant. Bad wine. This one pales compared to the other TJ's wine I tried side by side, a Black Barrel Syrah. Spend the extra 3 bucks for the BB Syrah.

Actually pretty average and I would never have guess that it was a Tempranillo. Almost zero varietal character. All I found was sweet blackcurrant fruit.

Surprisingly good and easy to drink temp! Perfect for a dinner at home with a pork, beef, or similar meat.

Drinks higher than the price. Give it about 45 min. to open up. Good enough for a Wed. night with Pizza.

Not bad for a $6 bottle on a weeknight. Ate with steak fajitas, and was a nice compliment.
