Jordyn & Jason's night (Darley Cabin): Decanted 30 minutes. This wine keeps softening as it ages, but I'm not sure it has added any complexity. The grape notes have evolved into more usual mixed berry and plum. It has a nice earthy/herbal tone to the midpalate and a clean, refined finish.

With a bit of air, a fragrant black cherry vanilla cigar nose, not like grandpas cigar, more hipster and edgy fresh.Very pleasant dark fruits, plush feel on the tongue. Smooth tannins. its fruity, creamy and plummy, some oak on the finish and doesn't lose it. I i can drink it all night like this... its strong and full of life, like my man. yes please.

deep garnet with purple, looks still young. Merlot's fruits flavour dominating, coming with quite a few vanilla and cigar box notes. velvety tannins (a little powdery). medium bodied, velvety tannins, well balanced with good structure. medium length.
A general smooth and pleasant wine, but a little bit diluted comparing to some GG blend models. However, I can image its higher level sister ''Sophia" must be more concentrated and more complex.
Easy drinking wine. Some red and black fruits. Definitely some cloves and Chinese five spice in there as well. Still showing youthful characteristics. Could easily go another 3-5+ years.

Right bank on steroids bright red fruits soft tannins but lacked complexity.
90+pts feels like this can last at least another 5years but maybe not improve a great deal.

Classic NZ Wine Trail - Hawke's Bay; 12/29/2013-12/30/2013 (Hawke's Bay): a beautiful GG blend: 70% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Malbec, 8% Cabernet Franc.
