Spiced pear on the nose immediately after opening, turning to herbs and citrus after some time, and ultimately ending up with very subtle banana and lots of butter and minerality. Overall, it's very light on flavor, but medium bodied with good balance and mouthfeel. It paired reasonably well with a light pasta dish. It has enough acidity to cut through and works well as a nice refreshing, palate cleansing wine.
Update: After being left open for a day with about a glass left in the bottle, it didn't really change much. Still buttery with good acidity.

Tasted at Pujo St Cafe Lake Charles
Eye: bright yellow. Nose: floral, white fruit, citrus notes. Palate: good fruit, crisp structure, fruit came thru nicely but a short finish.

Ok, basic Pinot Gris. Nothing notable. There are better choices out there.
