Another quality Siduri wine. I do love the texture and light weight feel of the Oregon pinots. Strawberry abounds on the nose and front palate. Red fruits on the finish, still very alive and quite pleasant for wine and cheese hour.

Don't remember it already -- it was pleasant, if uneventful -- but that it seemed considerably more restrained tonight. Not Burgundian, by a long shot, but a lot further from the candied New World expression Siduri so often seems to me to be hitting of late.

Nothing to add that others haven't said (cherry cola; some pickle juice; disappearing finish). I'll only add that if you were tasting this blind you'd've put your money on the Russian River, and nowhere near Oregon....
(Stored a Ball Jar's worth in the fridge, airtight -- revisited two days later, and it was as good if not better. Some of the brightest, cherriest fruit had faded, and it showed a more restrained side of itself.)

Very light brick in color. Nose of leather, dirt, dark cherries and cola. Cherries, strawberries, leather, some oak finishes with cherry cola. Slighty acidic light body long finish
