With pizzeria uno deep dish spinach pizza. Classically styled. This takes some time to open up and round out. Black and sour cherries, mountain herbs, old wood. This should be drunk up and likely was better a few years ago.

Ruby red, slightly transparent, brown edges due to age. Legs are medium fast (high alcohol, high concentration). On the nose you get cherry and raspberry notes with hints to oak. The mouthfeel is very fleshy and juicy. The tannins are very fine but strongly present. The acidity is shows late in the bouquet and is quite strong. Taste is very simuliert, also cherry and red berries. Hints of plum and sweet spices. High in alcohol. Needs a little air to open up. Might have a few years left (2027-28).

Classic brunello in a great place now. Opened 2 hours before dinner and was just right. Light color masks a solid red fruit nose and fully integrated tannins. Full body able to stand up to grilled waygu. Delicious!
