Beefy nose, bay leave. Savoury palate. Very nice but possibly missing a bit more sparkle one would associate with this bottling. To me that evening not the standout (better vintages from other Cathiard Vosne 1er shown - like Suchots and Orveaux 10 or Reignots 09).
This is a much better scoring wine than the 90+ average it has here, and judging by the commentary it has evolved quite a bit. On the nose there's purple fruits, spice, a touch of coffee and earth. On the palate it's deep and complex, with a ripe entry and very good length. Tannins are soft and barely noticeable - it's really drinking nicely

similar to my last note, i'd say it hasn't budged and has many years of life ahead. only hinting at secondary development

67 PM. Attractive floral, spice and smoky aromatics. Deep, rich and ripe across palate, drinking like 99/02.
