The wine is unfortunately way past its peak, but it's a lovely smooth unripe red fruitish, celeryish, peppery thing of Pineau d'Aunis.
The color is faded, and the tones are somewhat muted, but it remains a memory of just how nice this must have been 10 years ago, and last but not least, a souvenir of the wonders that CRB produced. Have 5 left and will enjoy them on a warm summer night.

2010 version. Wanted to love it but seemed too light after a rose from Provence. My bad.

no formal tasting note, but we weren't overly enthused.
