Overly-oaked, disjointed and hot. I feel like this wine was all over the place; big black fruits, heavy vanilla on the nose- very sweet smelling. Pie crust, sticky black fruits, green oak, and vanilla on the tongue. Drank over two nights, on the third, the wine ended up in the stew.

Want to make it work but it goes all gooey and oaky and hot. So disappointed. After 2 hours and chilling it down it became drinkable. Sor surprised as I figured any oak treatment would mellow out after 8 years.
