Been in my basement for almost nine years so didn't know what to expect. No decant. Was a pleasant surprise, some minimal signs of bricking. Dried cherries and fig on the nose. Very fresh, nothing stewed about the nose. At taste More dried cherry, with earthy component. More fig with only hints of raisin. Medium to full bodied. Like liquid cherry, very soft and pleasing to the palette with a generous finish. This was just in a great spot tonight. Paired with chicken parmigiana. Some years in the bottle rewarded this wine.

- Brick color with fast forming legs and aromas of black currant, blackberry, raisin and tobacco. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry, fig and cherry with a medium/full body. Round texture with a long finish - Decanted two hours.

Dried cherry and very slight cocoa nose. Mouth is less rich than I was wanting for an Amarone. Cherry and chocolate on the finish, but seems thin. It's possible my impressions are tainted by having tasted a Napa Cab immediately preceding this.

Abundant nose of cherry and cocoa powder. Rich, slightly raisined mid palate. Pleasant long finish with a return of raisins. Good for the price. Shows best slightly chilled.

Italians, Bordeaux and a few more with friends (An upscale Italian Restaurant in Cleveland): Perhaps I was a bit harsh on this after an evening of nice wines. It is a very solid effort. Nice upfront fruit. Plums and raisins. Not much complexity. Quite easy to drink but a bit tart on the finish. I don't know where it goes from here, but I would drink these sooner than later.
