Interesting to read my tasting note from 9 years ago.
This wine held on to its flowers. Still very floral, subtle, elegant. More in the violets/lilacs realm than the lilies it had in its youth. A little kiss off Brett coming out along with an iron/graphite quality.
Structure still firm. Short tannins probably won't resolve much further than this
This wine is on the back end of its plateau. Drink now through 2022. Any further than that and I'm afraid the acid would get a little disjointed.
With air time, the wine brought out some plum, kelp, saline sea breeze, and mushroom gravy.
Good not great!

Still rockin' to the free world (and, what the hell, to the rest of it too!) here....compelling red fruit, exquisite balance, great length, etc., etc. Nice indeed. Save last bottle for its 10th b-day....

Great stuff here, and excellent QPR. Delivers all things Burgundy -- nice balance, great mouthfeel, good acidity, fruit that keeps opening as the bottle does. 2015+ would be optimal on this, but we had 3 in the cellar so decided "why not"; a couple more are on the shelves locally and we're going to bring them home.
