  • Ok, it's started the same like yesterday with Chateau Camensac. Excellent condition of cork( like from 3-5 years old wine), almost no sediments (!), color closer to red then brown. Smell - fantastic, but... fortunately the wine didn't end up like yesterday wine. It was simply much better! Although the smell, I would say, was not so excited like smell of Chateau Camensac. It's typical aromas of red cherry, tobacco, earth, herbs. Nice, but no surprise. But taste!? Perfect balance, perfect harmony. Delicious!
I think I'm lucky to drink this wine at its peak. Everything is in right place!
Soft, but live acidity is here, soft, but visible tannins are here. What is the most exciting? The intertwining of the taste of red cherry with tobacco from the beginning to the end! Plus there is somewhere between a lot of herbs ( amazing!), chocolate ( too much for me), graphite ( wow!) and much more, but who cares. Wine is highly addictive. Take one sip and a second later you want to take another sip( very dangerous!)

  • Still in beautiful shape lots of cherry. Clean red color. Very nice.

  • Very nice. Quite classic and well integrated. Did not write a direct tasting note but this has aged well. I do not recognize the early tannins from my previous 2018 note.

  • Really nice nose, continues to develop nicely; however extreme tannic finish difficult to get past. This will hold for some time but, unfortunately, I don’t think it will ever soften.

  • Have had this in the cellar for years. Forgot I had it and was looking for something to have with homemade pizza. Decanted for 30-45 minutes and was very pleased. Bold, juicy and a bit dry, all I am looking for in an Italian. Could be put back a few more years, but was happy with the wine.
