Tasted at Tre Bicchieri NYC. This is a reasonably nice and attractively priced Sparkler made in the traditional method. Fresh bright citrus and a slight yeastiness. Decent length.

Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. Traditional method. 85% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir. Pale yellow. Frothy perlage. Med (+) nose of lemon custard, yellow apple, ripe pear, brioche, crushed rock. Aged 36 months on the lees, yet very clean, fresh & youthful. Dry (5g/L RS), w/ med (+) acidity and med alcohol. Med body, med flavor intensity w/ a savory, mineral note on the medium long, creamy finish. Very clean, fresh and ripe compared to similarly-aged Champagne. New world - type fruit w/ traditional winemaking skills. Solid QPR.
