Lots of melon, citrus and apple, along with a pretty floral note on its brightly acidic palate. The Chenin Blanc in the blend gives this extra body and a nice richness. Finishes bone dry, with attractive hints of chalk and mineral - but is slightly clipped. Quite enjoyable, and even better when paired with fish or poultry. 50+5+11+15+7=88

Just opened the last bottle in the cellar. So good. Still has the citrus notes. Perfect with the pan seared/oven finished halibut.

Early Jan 2012 in a restaurant: gentle fruits; strong minerals; decent acid.
Excellent white wine from a widely unknown appellation.

Jon-David Headrick 2011 Portfolio Tasting (Boston, MA): Fat, then tightens up. Not a lot of fruit. Interesting wine, and has a great finish.
