Decanted for two hours; no sediment. Deep garnet color. very nice nose of cherry and black pepper. Medium-bodied, slightly jammy, blackberry and plum on the palate, with bright acids and light tannins on a medium length finish. Overall, a very nice wine that is probably in its prime drinking window. At $20/bottle, a great QPR.

Great wine overall, and great value. Drinking very well now with short decant. Intense perfumed nose, very refined on the palate, well balanced with nice length to the finish. Tannins are present but smooth. Drank like a nice Bordeaux.

Very good wine, especially for <$20. Dark cherry and blackberry, with some herbal notes and earth. A slight step below the Terrunyo, but for half the price it is quite a bargain.

Carmenere with 14 percent Cabernet. The wine is inky with a thin, ruby halo. Aromas of blackberry and cherry. On the palate, blackberry, oak, tar, pepper and licorice. The wine has a lengthy, tannic finish. It can be consumed now with a long decant or cellared for at least five years. Remarkably complex for a wine that retails for around $20.
