Three days in the Hunter Valley, 13 Cellar Doors, 115 wines; 2/24/2011-2/26/2011 (Hunter Valley, Australia): Quite large, massive fruit on the nose. Fruit, alcohol, and pepper. The big candied fruit continues on the palate with nasty oakiness. Not balanced at all on the finish; just flabby.
