  • Dark cherry, some dry wood, barnyard and meat on the nose. Nice! Quite full bodied with a nice mineral component. Vibrant but dry dark cherry and plum on the palate. Firm tannic grip, but with a medium rare steak this is definitely drinkable already. Leaves a nice dry mouthfeel. Some alcohol heat in the finish. Enjoyed alongside entrecotes, asparagus, hollandaise-sauce and potatoes, it took a blink of an eye and the bottle was empty. Should we be worried? Maybe, but I think that also speaks for the wine. Solid stuff, although the finish deducts some points.
