  This was quite a refined wine.On the nose initially some cooked vegetables and tobacco.The palate was soft and smooth with some brett and tobacco.After airing a couple of hours the fruit came out as well.Overall nicely developed and balanced.

  A deep violet red. On the nose lots of black fruits, blackberry and perhaps cherry. A note of smoke or tar in the background. Taste is not overwhelmingly fruity, somewhat restrained with tannins drying the tongue, but very nice. Finish long and a bit hot. Perhaps this could sit in the cellar for a couple of years more.
  
  The next day there was much more fruit in the taste and some smokiness. Very nice indeed!
