Tasted over 2 hrs -deep but bright dark red with the faintest of clearing at edge -moderately intense complex fresh dark berry wet stone mint smoke -med acidity, med- weight fading dark berry red apple peel somewhat ethereal essence evaporates on the palate leaving a dusting of berry and chalky med tannins -this is quite good on its mature plateau, has a few years before the fruit fully fades away

PopnPour, tasted over 4 hrs and day 3 -nearly opaque dark red minimal clearing at edge -moderately expressive and complex fresh minerality/wet stone dark berry pine mint; more fragrant on day 3 -med acidity, med/med- weight med density but relatively simple mid-palate mostly earthy and meaty prominent med/med+ tannins; softer more expansive and more evident ripe black fruit on day 3 -palate not living up to the nose at this point, still has some tannins to shed, may be better in a few years; this got better with air

PnP. Go figure: 2 years later and this bottle was a delight. Superb balance and sufficient fruit. 12.7%

A bit disappointing. Not much on the nose, but fair balance overall.
