This has come of age (though still driven by primary fruit) and settled down to a very nice, very modern, very polished Bordeaux-wine. It will probably live 10 years from now, but i do not see it improving much, the commercial, smooth look is what this is about. (with steak haché at home)

1 Year ago this was an amazing wine (92pt). This year it is fading. I buy it on sale because in Denmark the normal price is hilarious (typical for french wine). The sale price is on par with napa cabernets of similar price, which it seems to mimick. It has the broken down textures blackcurrants with woody earthy notes, but the fruits are almost gone now, while chewy tannins are still remaining on the finish, but it cuts it rather short. This is not how I remember it.

This is a stunning wine. I had 8 bottles and have just 1 left. About 5 of the ones we drank were outstanding. 2 were of less quality. I would love to buy more but I do think this is the time to drink this wine

Dinner with Gérard Depardieu, Bernard Magrez and their wines (W'Sens, London): A rich, oppulent style with blackberry, plum and blackcurrant. Pronounced French oak on the palate, a bit disjointed but may improve with further aging. A powerful, if not elegant, wine. 6,000 bottles made, representing a yield of only 18 hl/hectare.
